Embroidery Formats
Embroidery designs are created using a technique called digitizing. Each brand of embroidery machine uses a format created to be recognized by that machine. They will have a file extention that is easily recognized by the embroidery machine for both stitching and viewing. Different brands of machines use different format extentions.
If you cannot find the format you require there are programs for the computer that can be used to convert one format to another. An example would be changing a PES format into an HUS.  Most of the embroidery software will allow you to do this, they will allow you to import a format for another brand and then you can save it for your machine in the format you require.
Below is a list of some of the formats for different brands.
